Kolfok "Güterweg" Neckenmarkter Blaufrankisch (2019)

Kolfok are absolute stars of the Austrian wine scene. In the regional dialect, the term "kolfok" means an unconventional thinker. This makes sense: parts of the vineyards directly boarder Hungary, giving the wines an unconventional mix of Alpine soils and Pannonian climate. The Blaufrankish is aged in barrel for 18 months before being bottled unfined and unfiltered. Expect crushed plum fruit, earth, and a lean minterality giving this wine beautiful structure and grace.
